This black and white photograph shows members of the Kansas City Monarchs baseball team at National Park in Washington state. The franchise was organized in 1920 and located in Kansas City, Missouri. It became the longest running Negro League team in the United States before disbanding in 1965. This photo is dated July 04, 1934
