The last time we saw Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou (b. Benin, 1964) on the large screen was in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy. This year he will appear in Sergei Bodrov’s fantasy film Seventh Son, in Mark Neveldine’s thriller The Vatican Tapes, and in at least two other features that are still in post-production.
