Actress Somi Guha brought a successful complaint of racism against Jeremy Clarkson to Ofcom. Speaking about the uproar she faced after reporting Clarkson, she said: ‘My friends were really scared for me and told me not to read the comments on Twitter as they were really vile.
‘It shows what can happen when you stand up to someone bigger and more powerful than you.’
